We curate vintage and archival treasures that honor the many ways people embody femme energy—across genders, cultures, sizes, ages, and histories. Femme, for us, is not a biological destiny or a performance of binaries; it’s a creative, relational force that anyone can claim, shape, and share.
Our name tips a velvet hat to artists like Judy Chicago who reclaimed domestic crafts as fine art. Yet we see our lineage as far wider and woven through many hands; ‘daughters’ includes the unnamed makers, the anonymous ancestors, the kitchen-table creators whose stories carry the spark of femme creativity.
Judy’s Daughters is a candlelit invitation to dress, adorn, and day-dream in vintage finery—no matter how you identify. We believe femme is a verb: a soft rebellion, a curatorial eye, a tender swagger. Our racks carry silk gowns, brocade corsets, gauzy party dresses, beaded bags, and more spanning 1900-1950s. Each piece is gently restored with care and offered with the reverence of not knowing, of allowing each piece to carry mystery and memory. Pull up a chair; there’s always room at our table.
